Chuck...

Yes it was a Ruger super Blackhawk 44mag with a ten and half inch barrel I had the grips because I replaced them with moulded rubber Pachmayr grip. Wonder where that revolver ended up.

Mine was the 45 Blackhawk.

Came with two cylinders. 45ACP and 45 Colt.

The 45ACP cylinder was handy, because the US Navy used our range for training and if we happened to be there at the time, they gave us lots of free ammo. ;)

BTW...Talking about where our Guns ended up....

My shooting buddy was visited recently by the Police, they had a photo of a 1917 Brazilian Crested Smith & Wesson 45ACP Revolver and asked if he could identify it.

He said yes, it used to belong to himself but was surrendered of course in the hand in.

He was positive it was his as he had shortened the damaged barrel and in the process had made a small nick on the barrel.

He asked what it was all about but they refused to answer and left.

Maybe gives more credence to the rumour that the confiscated handguns, (In Scotland anyway), are still in storage.

Wonder why they would do that?

Jenks, bangbang bangbang :good:

Yes, 25, good question. It's not as if we need guns to defend ourselves is it - after all, we are all sleeping safer knowing that all the guns were taken off the streets in an act of sheer vindictiveness and spite!
