If you think you are a person of some importance, try ordering someone else's dog around.

You say you shoot at Mattersey too? I'm there some Saturdays, might have even seen you once or twice. Funny how things work.

Hi, Sixshot
I've been a member since 1994. Used to shoot mainly on Sundays but now tend to go during the week.

In that case, we'll likely never meet. Shame. 1994, so you're a long runner. I only have one complaint with Mattersey and that is how New members are not allowed voting rights and are just associate members despite paying the same fees. Do you have an opinion on this?

Welcome Six, Iv'e been to Balby, I thought of joining a
while ago but never got round to it. I shoot a Sprotborough
and other places, but I have never shot at Mattersey, membership
always seemed a bit expnsive.

Welcome to the site.

Balby is nice and very down to Earth. Mattersey is good, expensive but good facilities. I am only a member of Mattersey due to things getting a little bit dicey when I decided a backup was needed for reason I don't think I should discuss here. You're welcome to join at Balby though and hell I'd let you have a go with my vz58 mars if you asked.

Doesn't really bother me too much. I've only been to a couple of AGM's as they are held in the evening and it's almost a two hour drive. New members at one gun club up here are not allowed to vote for the first five years - that is a pain.
