muzzle brake timing shims for AR15 muzzle

#1 Post by safetyfirst »

Hi, so I got a nice brake off another member on here and the two crush washers I have don't time it properly (align the ports correctly when fully tight) so I'm after some shims for it. Can anyone tell me where I can find some nice shims that'll slip over the threads and not protrude when the brake is tightened up?

Or perhaps a split washer might be the thing?

Advice sought!

Try http://www.valkyrierifles.net/ I purchased my muzzle brake for my .223 and it comes with a split washer to 'time' it, he may sell the washers on their own?
