Welrod

#1 Post by DL. »

I just stumbled across this article on the 'welrod' type pistol produced by Brugger & Thomet. I'm genuinely surprised they had a business case to develop this!

Seems ideal for a humane despatch slot.

Mine was a Walter Gun Co model....more of a curiosity than an effective answer to a problem. Pity.

By all means, crack on & make up something along those lines, but the Welrod is/was a PITA to use in real life

The better option would be a High Standard .22, or even a Ruger Mk.II .22; as they both work well without the drama that the Welrod mechanism adds to the mix; and that was only one of the faults I found with it
