A pity that the BBC reports it incorrectly and say that they are "Tardis Doors" when we all know that the Tardis was modelled on a real police box.

The tweet attracted one complaint saying the doors were a "waste of taxpayers money".
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

...and VERY apt given that the Police Box (Turdis) design was the work of a chap from Sunderland, which was in County Durham at the time.

Was the first thing that popped into my mind... Are the police here to entertain as well as detain criminals now...?
