Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

Anyone had any recent* dealings with the above?

Been trying to BUY a gun from them for about a week...they seem not at all bothered about finalising the sale, sorting out the RFD documents exchange, etc.

When I send e-mails they go unanswered.
Phone them at 10am & the woman answers "Good Afternoon..."
Phone them at 3pm & the woman answers "Good Morning..."
I've heard of Dadaist Experiments, but never knew any of them had RFD status (with due apologies to DodgyRog. of course!)

No doubt it'll all go ahead in due course, but they seem to be uninterested in selling guns. A strange attitude for a gun shop; though not the first one I have seen that comes across that way...

I go to TALs now and then for loading supplies, and generally find them friendly and helpful.

The lady runs the diving side of things, and has little knowledge of the shooting side...it may be that Andre, who runs the shooting, is away at the moment...

...I find best comms is by phone; and ask for Andre.

...or maybe yesterday

Called in for a brief 10 minute visit, as I was darn sarf for the interview

Not a bad shop - on the small side - plus a Staffordshire dog wandering around wearing some sort on onesie!
Had a Swiss K31 for £500, but no finish left on the stock.
3/4 to 4/5 of the shop seemed to be the Scuba side of the business.
