When I did the UKPSA safety course there were 3 M2s with faults, one brand new! At my local club there's barely been a month without an M2 playing silly buggers. Saying that it's probably just a tiny percentage, there are just more out there.

Trouble is,mpeople afe convinced they need to "fettle" an M2 in one way or another to make it "better". The fact is, you do not. When someone starts to mess with it, they mess right back....

Well...the M2 is good. But it's not perfect for PSG. There *are* improvements that can be made for speeding up loading. (milling out the loading port area, welding/replacing the lifter)

There are other bits you can do, but they can be VERY costly if you screw them up!

I have been using S1 shotguns for years, tried most of them.
If I was dropped on an alien planet with only a shotgun.
I would take "MY" Saiga 12

Dremels are for polishings, take a flat bastid file to your shotgun. As it bites into the alloy there are lots more chunks that come off than using a dremel.
I've filed my port flat to get the depth, now just need to flare the new port and polish.

And some of us just open the box, load up a few mags with the pokiest ammo to run their new toy in.

And then carry on with a firearm that functions without need for fettling that should have been part of the design process.
