Stripper / charger clips??
Hi all I have just bough myself a new Gew 98 in 7.92x57 which I am loving shoots great and a good bit of fun.
But I haven't got any stripper clips for it yet and im wondering where I can find myself a few of them to get me going.
There is only about 2 -3 places where I can find them in the UK and they seem to be charging around £8 for 5 of them is that about right seems alot to me.
I also have Lee Enfield Mk3* in .303 and those stripper clips seem to be about £2.50 - £3.30 for 1 of them.
If you could point me in the right direction or post any known links that would be great.
Cheers

Re: Stripper / charger clips??
K98's are plentiful from German & Czech sellers at big militaria fairs such as forthcoming War & Peace . Alternatively, they are very cheap in Germany & the postage is peanuts. The German word is Ladestreifen .
Re: Stripper / charger clips??
Joe have a look on www.egun.de there is generally a fair bit of K98 kit on there and most of the sellers are quite willing to post to the U.K. Payment by bank transfer is the usual way in Europe.

Try C&G Firearms, I bought a Yugoslav M48 with them 18 months ago and they threw in a pack of 20 clips for it. They used to have them advertised on their sister site Ammo-zone but aren't showing now. Give them a call and ask.

I rather think mutual support is what a forum such as this is all about - pay it forward and so on.
I've received help and advice from herein so, if I can, I'm happy to help!
