Why do we strive to see beyond and travel to the edge of our own galaxy when we don't fully know or appreciate what lives on Earth with us....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Very true, I once read that we know more about the surface of the Moon than we do about the depths of our oceans.

I'd have had a crack at it myself. Imagine having steak sized servings of fried crispy squid. Delish~!

Or tag it and track it, who knows where it could end up.There's always the possibility that the one in the video is a tiddler compared to what may be down in the depths.

I enjoy a bit of calamari myself but creatures like this should be conserved and studied.

I reckon the Kraken might be more real than we think. It was almost beautiful that squid. Next time one comes up it needs tracking so we can see if bigger ones exist. It would be nice to know.

It didn't look too happy, do deep sea living creatures survive if bought to the surface?
