Hi guys,
Last night I finally got "my" shotguns transferred from my dads certificate onto mine. Basically when I was 9 my dad bought me a Silma 20g to learn to shoot with, and on my 18th birthday I got bought a Beretta Xtrema 2... Both very nice guns and make me very nostalgic from memories out shooting with my dad.
Now, the Silma has for a number of years had a broken ejector, and the bottom shell will not "pop" out... i think it was from trying to close it cocked or something. I don't remember.
Does anyone have any idea how much something like this would cost to fix? Or where I could find what part is broken (Presumably the ejector pin) and how to replace it.
I've never broken down a shotgun action before, but would be willing to give it a go....
Thanks,
TG

The broken pin which stops the bottom ejector working :-(
Anyone know where I could source one?

Any local machine shop should be able to copy the other one I would think? Perhaps don't mention it;s for a shotgun though...

Re: Silma 20g Broken Ejector
Ah, well in the first instance, I have got in touch with the manufacturer as the part is on their spare parts catalogue, just need to know how to get one from them (secretly hoping they send out out FOC, but not holding my breath). Then I just need to figure out how to disassemble the shotgun and replace the part...
