Thankfully they are getting them... in 12 months. But still getting them. I'm surprised no one has thought to bring them here Chuck, unlike a pump or a semi the 12/24 rather than 24/40 applies to lever's giving them some kind of market at least.

True, there was some kind of demand with the 1887 crowd, but the western shooting crowd seem to have gone back to sxs's or originals/repro's of 1897's. Reliability was an issue with it (2 3/4 inch shells essentially didn't work). But from what I've seen with footage of the addler that is no problem (why so many aussie shotgun owners want one). Surely there must be a way to do a dummy run, explain reasons why it could be for some people (i.e. some people who had section 1's before 1988 that it would be a way to have a repeating shottie with a barrel 20-22 inches or less if they wan't).

I think the IPSC crowd wouldn't be a first choice (unless some open class guys thought lets give it a try) but maybe some rough shooters might be the people to sell too. I don't know. I just think some more interesting stuff like that and trying to get Kel tec to knock up some CMR's with a welded 2 inch brake might just give us some new gear, we can't sit in ruts of no new stuff forever at the end of the day. Hell off topic but I noticed western shooting supplies has some take down 22lr underlever's. I don't who in the uk buys a takedown with uk storage laws but somebody must do.

I guess at the end I'd just like to see any new stuff in. Why.......... no reason, just like to see new stuff .

Can't disagree that new stifff is always welcome - but does the market think that way - just look at some of the debates on here about "purists" or sport sabateurs as some would say.

At the end of the day people should be able to get what they want because they WANT to, not this stupid "need" nonsense.

I still reckon somebody might want one. Its a strange one but its curiously (probably didn't realize they existed) along with bolts one of the few repeating shotties that escaped the 1988 madness. It's bo...cks though, same with pump action centerfire's being section 5 along with Centerfire semis and they'll never give you an adequate reason for why also.

Footage seems to show it being reliable.

Also a test model was mentioned to have no problems after 3000 rounds (I know a true torture test will be more, but that still good).

it wouldn't be suitiable for cowboy / western comps as it's too new. some folk over here use 1887's but they aren't great for reloading. sxs's or 1897's are.

looking at it the action looks like a standard pump with some levers added in to do the action of the pump. you can rattle off lever rifles at target very quickly, so i don't see why that wouldn't transfer to PSG. if you had a slick enough action that is.

Too true for cowboy/western but IPSC is possible. It seems to be based on a fabarm (lots of Italian shotties seem to be using Turkish parts now) semi reverse engineered and instead of a gas system you have the rod and whatever works the lever (limited technical know how before anyone pounces). For IPSC it has the advantage in the manual classes/open (not sure of the names of the classes, no knowledge of IPSC classes outside of a few things I've seen and read and that was a while ago) of being able to be shorter than a pump or semi legally (the badly written 88 act again sadly ) so it might have some place there, imagine 20 inches or even 18 inch barrels in a comp.
