A fellow lady shooter from my French club is looking for a 22 Lr Lee Enfield Trainer. She is after the classic look so SMLE & #4 are more her bag than #8.
I warned her that due to its scarcity & popularity over here, combined with the logistic of it, finding one in France might be actually be a cheaper option, nevertheless suggested to look at the offerings from Highwood Classic Arms.
If you have other suggestions or know of one for sale, I'll pass the dets on .
Many thanks,
Lee Enfield Trainer

Re: Lee Enfield Trainer
My WW2 British training rifle is up for sale...a US made Mossberg. All complete with spare magazines & quite a few extras...
Re: Lee Enfield Trainer
If you are talking about your Mossberg, I had suggested it to her but she is after a British Lee-Enfield .

Re: Lee Enfield Trainer
I have an all original Patt 14 1917 dated in my collection that I am thinking of selling, used to use it in the HARC leagues with some success, as you say they are expensive enough here. I will also have a Parker Hiscock magazine for sale when the rifle goes.
Getting it out to France is the problem as none of the UK FAC shippers will send abroad so it is specialists only and the last time I looked it was £300+ and not worth the grief of sending.
