Hello

#1 Post by wool »

Dromia suggested an introduction. 73 years old, FAC holder since 1966, SGC holder since I had to be, shot muzzle-loader only until 1986 then small-bore rifle and pistol ,full-bore rifle and pistol when permitted, but the last 4 years have reverted to lever action rifle with occasional lapses into other areas such as LBR and LBP. Very keen homeloader.

Regards, Wool.

Welcome to the forum Wool, I lived in Chesterfield for many years yet always used to go to Via Gellia to shoot pistol, is the Chesterfield club a relatively new thing?

Thank you for your responses/ comments. I still have a Buckmark LBP which has not yet malfunctioned in 4 years. The Taurus 357 and 22 LBRs have gone to new homes but I am being drawn towards a 45ACP LBR. The Chesterfield club is relatively new, having been founded in 1942, so the club and I had our 73 rd birthday last month.

Regards, Wool.

1942, Arghhh.. never mind, the drive from Chatsworth Road to Via Gellia was always nice. Having said that our club just disappeared without trace one day in 1996 and to this day I have never found why it went in such a rush...
