I need an AR-15 hand guard to put on my SIG522 (I have the free float kit already).
It needs to match these three criteria:
1) No ventilation holes (unless they are only at the end of the hand guard)
2) Cylindrical with no rails attached
3) All metal
I don't mind if it is partly knurled, or has a shallow grip indent and I also don't mind a second hand part as long as the threads are in good condition. Carbine or rifle length is fine.
Is there anything out there with a reasonable price?

Re: AR-15 style handguard wanted (no rails, no holes)
I have this DPMS free float guard with barrel nut, £20 posted

Dan, that looks like what I want. What is the diameter of the outside of that nut? (I am guessing I will not be using that nut, but the guard needs to fit on the nut in my free float kit)

45mm or just use this nut
Re: AR-15 style handguard wanted (no rails, no holes)
Update: I got that DPMS hand guard from DanTheMan and it is just what I wanted. The only problem is the nut aperture was 1mm too narrow for my conversion nut, but that was easily solved with a drill and a grinding stone, a few minutes light grinding and it is done.
Thanks Dan!
Thanks Dan!
