Accuracy International Magazines

Can anyone help me? I'm going round in circles.

I recently sold my Remington 700 AICS in .308. I have purchased an Accuracy International AE. I won't get it for 3 weeks as it's coming from Ireland.

I held on to one of the 5 round steel mags from the AICS thinking that it would be of use in the new rifle.

I have read that this won't work in the AE. Moreover I can't seem to find a 10 round mag for the AE.

Does anyone know what fits? Will the AW mag fit the AE?

Christmas is coming and I would like to buy my new toy a gift!

if it is the Mk1 AE only the AE 5 shot single stack will fit. There was a very limited run of 8 shot single stack magazines however they are incredibly rare.

Yes it's the MK-1 fixed stock. So will the 5 shot from my AICS fit?

Nope, the AICS and AE Mk1 magazines are not interchangeable.

I guess I'll list the AICS mag at some point. I don't know why I bother about the 10 round magazine as I invariably hand feed for the McQueens anyway.

I prefer hand feeding McQueen as well, there is always a enough time and I can visually keep an eye on how many rounds I have shot on the string.
