I am a keen shooter at various calibre's from .22 to .308 I have a full UK firearms cert and own my own rifles. I try to shoot as often as I can but find weekends difficult due to a young family, I used to shoot Bisley Shooting club, mid-week once a month but the NRA seem intent on trying to kill that off if they can. So I want to join this widely read and contributed too forum so I can expand my knowledge base and hopefully bring my limited skills to the help of others.
Rifles
HK416 in 22lr
AR15 straight pull in .223
Howa 1500 (outback stock) in .308
Lee Enfield WW1 Cavalry Carbine .303 made in 1906/7
look forward to chatting with you.

Hi christel
thank you for the comment as i had no idea if that had sent or not. Makes it that bit easier when you know that you have not messed up your first one.

Re: New Member from Kent
Hi MCS, did you ever shoot at Hythe military ranges? I used to go there with Faversham Rifle and Pistol Club and I believe it's in your neck of the woods?
Never take good advice, if you think you know better.
Re: New Member from Kent
Hi North Star, yes I still shoot at Hythe ranges which is slightly ironic for me as it was my army cadet camp back in 1983 and I shot the 303 for the first time. So to go back and shoot my own is always fun now. I am Canterbury based is fav club now disbanded someone told me they shot in the small quarry on the a2 ?
