It's always nice when you get something new, looks like a nice rifle :good:

I've got to wait until Saturday to get my sticky mitts on my latest acquisition :bad:

I've got one of them; bought it in 1968 and still have it. ;)

If your Voere serves you as well as mine has you won't be sorry. I paid £40 for a used one in 1973 from Finch Feeds (Pet food and guns) in Hastings - I still have it and use it regularly. I use it for club gallery comps, plinking vermin etc.

They have an excellent barrel and the facility to lock the bolt and shoot it as a single shot. The trigger is poor and creepy by todays standards and the plastic trigger housing looks and feels, well - plastic.

You will need to keep an eye on the magazine, especially out in the field. If resting on a post or some such, it's easy to knock the mag release and spare mags are hard to find.

I have tweeked the springs on my rifle so it works reliably with sub-sonic HP's and, with a HP moderator it looks unfashionably long, but I couldn't guess how many rounds I've put through it.

Two or three years ago it started to play up a bit and I found that the recoil spring had collapsed a little - I emailed Voere in Austria, I told them I'd had the rifle for 40 years but they still sent me a new set of springs, free of charge.

Here's mine temporarily assigned to night duty:

I have three mags too - It's taken around 35 years to accumulate them. :)
