Steyr SSG 69 26mm Scope rings
Need a set of Steyr SSG 69 26mm Scope rings.
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Steyr SSG 69 26mm Scope rings
Do they have to be actual SSG69 rings or will generic rings to fit an SSG69 be OK? I ask because the original QR ring sets for the SSG69 P1 were numbered to the receiver and the ZFM 6x42Z 'scope is bonded to the rings so originals might be hard to find.

Re: Steyr SSG 69 26mm Scope rings
Have a 6X 42 Israeli Photonic scope I want to use which is equivalent to the Kahles ZF 69.
Would like QD rings, but generic would be OK as long as they fit the dovetails in the SSG69 receiver and are 26mm.
Steyr make a slide on Picatinny rail, so that would be and option with 26mm rings, but I want to keep the profile as low as possible.
Thanks

You mean NIMROD....never heard them referred to as the former, always tbe latter.
Will need to check mine as always thought they had inch tubes...

No not Nimrod, I have one of those too it is one inch, I use it on my L1A1.
The Photonic was a kahles zf69 with the same reticule as the Nimrod. Is 26mm unfortunately. Also has depleted tritium illumination.
