Need a thread adapter (1/2 x 28 to 1/2 x 20)
Can anyone recommend a good quality thread adapter which I can get preferably from a UK supplier? I need to convert 1/2" x 28tpi to 1/2" x 20tpi, so the adapter will need to be 1/2 x 28 female and 1/2 x 20 male.
Any suggestions?

Why UK?
If it must be the UK then find a lathe operator, as they are easy to do
I just got a VERY nice stainless steel thread adaptor from the USA. 1/2"x28 to 5/8"x24
Let me use my 5/8-24 threaded mod. on my AR barrelled CAM rifles
Was about $24 or so. Very cost effective & VERY well made.
May get another one in due course to allow use on other threaded barrels as I have a 9/16"? (same as FN FAL) thread on my 700 Police.

Ok, I'll consider it. Where did you get your adapter from?

U.K. Custom shop made me one when I ordered a wildcat mod from them, nicely made.

Ooh, sorry, can't recall but not very much, perhaps 10-15 quid on top of the mod.
Whatever you get, make sure to get flats machined into it so you can get it off something easily, mine got stuck inside an over barrel mod and I sent it back to get it removed and some flats machined in, takes them a few extra minutes but it's worth it.

I got that same one, £16 plus £2 postage, seems like a decent part!
