Hi all,

New to the forum. FAC + SGC holder since Nov last year, been shooting since I was 12. (25 now)

Currently a member of Brookshill shooting club at Minstersly ranges.

I shoot .357 rifle & .22LR at the minute. Had a brief stint with a .308 Steyr but it had to be refunded in the end.

I target shoot mainly, however I have been deer stalking in Europe before with my father.

Reside in Cheshire and looking for a more local club and general advice/chit chat on anything and everything firearms related.

Pic of the .357 and old .308 below

Thanks

Nathan

Thanks all.

There was an issue with the rounds being extracted once fired but not ejecting, so the empty case was brought back into bhattery.

Multiple fixes were done including the extractor spring. Seller was very good and offered to refund the rifle. In hind sight a .308 is probably overkill for shooting at 50 & 100 yards, especially considering the ammo costs!

It did love it though, such a well thought out rifle.

I'm looking for a 223 straight pull now, something alittle cheaper to run.

Aha sadly I'm not the owner of such a structure.

It's part of the bench rest shed.
