AR15 After Market Trigger WANTED

#1 Post by nfarmer »

I'm on the look out for a replacement trigger group for my Mil-Spec 5.56 AR15 platform.

Open to ideas and suggestions

Anyone?

Depends, what do you want?

Drop in?
Single stage?
2-stage?

Is it a match trigger you want or just something better than mil-spec?

How about a trigger job on the standard trigger?, bit of spit and Polish here and there to remove any grittiness.

Change the springs too.

There's a lot of possibilities and budget is a concern, how much do you want to spend?

I have a ALG ACT in my .223, it's mil-spec, but nickel boron coated and just over 5.5lb single stage with JP springs fitted, cost me around £80.

Ideally drop in single stage and a light pull weight, but I think I've found one

Got a rock river on mine, nice trigger and cheaper than a Geisele...or however you spell it.

Be aware that IF you go too light you will be excluded from some competition classes such as service optic etc.
