Suffolk Rifle no longer in existence!

Had a good experience with a gun shop or rifle maker? Found a good deal? Tell us about it. Had a bad experience, TELL THE GUN SHOP!

Forum rules
Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

This rule applies to the entire forum.

You seem to know a lot more than most...whats the story. We were one of Neal's customers, and do not have a clue what happened.

Wasn't it that one gun was a straight pull SA80 that was listed as stolen from the MOD armory or something? Please fill in what you know Brad.

I'm not sure I want to spread rumours if that is all they are...

If a straight pull rifle would it not be called a L98 cadet rifle and not a SA80.

I couldn't think of a worse rifle to have as a straight-pull, the position of the cocking handle must make it terrible to operate

I think some have them for the rarity value and the fact it's as close as we'll get to a SA-80 .....and pay through the nose for the privilege.

Pretty much and collectors can be a funny bunch too, crap operating position or not, also if you do enjoy your L85, more power to to you, enjoy what you like.
