Hi all,
Taken the spring and magazine follower out of my 2+1 (crimped 7+1) Hatsan MPA tube but can't get the bit from the other end of the tube past the crimp. The Hatsan tube is open ended and has a sort of washer with a hole in the middle that stops the spring from popping out the front of the tube.
I've looked online and think the part number is '403' but I can't see anywhere to buy one.
I'm just being impatient before phoning some dealers on Monday but anyone seen these for sale anywhere?
Cheers
david

Yep - you've discovered my 'Plan B'saddler wrote:Just get a washer from Screwfix or B&Q
There's a specialist nuts, bolts and screws supplier near me, if I can't find the proper retainer then I'll take the tube to them and see what they have that might fit.
From looking at the parts diagram, the retainer is a cup shape which the spring seats into, but it don't think using a flat washer would cause a problem - 5 minutes colouring with a black marker and it'll even look the part

Update!
Spoke to the very nice chap at Dauntsey Guns (where I bought the mag tube from) and he told me that with a bit of fiddling, the washer comes out of the front of the tube - it doesn't have to be pushed back past the crimp at all.....
So, time for a fiddle
