Bremmer AR15/M16 .22

Re: Bremmer AR15/M16 .22
I love these... A had a deact one and the build quality was really good. There's one here that I toyed buying. They look better in real life. If I had a spare slot I would definitely have bought it:
The best bit is the M261 conversion kit, so you can "finally" use USGI mags in a .22 semi. I can't speak for the cyclical or BHOA reliability, but at £650 I say get it.

Really well built AR15 clone, takes 20/30rd USGI metal mags with inserts or you can buy BDM mags etc. All spares seem easy to find, it's just an M261 conversion kit. Keep it clean and it's v reliable. Also has BHO but not on the last round.
Bremmer & V22, don't think I will ever part with it, bipod not required.

Re: Bremmer AR15/M16 .22
I have had one for many years now in the same configuration to one of my full-bore rifles down to weight and trigger.
Works like a dream and is excellent for indoor positional practice (and I have got some surprisingly good scores on NRA 10-spots at 25, upset some of the 22 match rifle boys when I beat them with a short sight-radiused semi - who needs an Annie?).

Arming the Country, one gun at a time.
Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Dan, I'm curious about your mag setup on the V22 - it looks as if you have 'proper' 5.56 / .223 surplus mags rather than the usual Blackdog .22 mags (which never cycle in mine). How have you managed that? Some sort of insert for .22?

A mate did it for me, he chopped an RG mag and bonded it onto a V22 10 round mag.Dark Skies wrote:Dan, I'm curious about your mag setup on the V22 - it looks as if you have 'proper' 5.56 / .223 surplus mags rather than the usual Blackdog .22 mags (which never cycle in mine). How customisable is it? Can you change stock, pistol grip hand guard etc?
