Re: New Boy!
Chuck,
Pistols used to be S&W mod 60, Browning HP 9mm, and my favourite was Colt .45acp 1911. I had several in various stages of accurizing! Oh! how I miss my practical pistol shooting! (Prob not politically correct to admit to that! Just wait for the knock on the door now!)
I couldn't cope with pract rifle 'cos too much to carry! But I respect anyones shooting.

Re: New Boy!
Hi, Welcome aboard. Possibly me referred to in previous post as I have an RPA and shoot F Class, however is is a glorious shade of pink so that should redeem it!! Only been doing it for a year after 30 years of TR. However I can also get on Christel's good side as I have a really nice late Mk4 Swing. That is still set up for TR as I can't afford two sets of scopes etc. If you are an NRA member there is a cheap way of shooting/practicing by joining the NRA SC. We shoot twice a month, one weekday and one weekend and its only £15 half day and £25 full day. We attract around 40-50 per shoot so plenty of people to give advice. Appreciate you still have travelling etc but at least not too heavy on the pocket for range/marker fees. Let me know if you need any help/advice.

Re: New Boy!
Thanks for the info. Yes, I'm a 'nonattending member' of the NRA Shooting Club and also the NRA. I joined the club from the start but Cornwall to Bisley is 4hrs ish. so the trip usually is a big ish comp. Just wanted to support the new club.
Here I shoot once a month @ 300 - 600 yds and most weeks at the local range @ 100 yds so I get lots!
I guess my next stage is F class but I still cope with TR so I'll keep going! I've got the kit to change over

John, welcome aboard and sod the PC brigade. My missus lives abroad, we have a Walther P99 AS model and a Yavuz 16 (Turkish copy of a Beretta 92) both 9mm. Looking at a Sarsilmaz ST 10, seems a dead ringer for the HK USP ..............
We also have a Safir T14, a .36cal shotgun in M4 copnfiguration (18" barrel folding stock semi auto. nearst we can get to military style. Also a few shotguns in tactical guise (loadsa photos were on another place, maybe Rob can post them here - eh buddy.)
