Nah, you should be okay. Most, if not all "Target" ammo is sub-sonic as stated above.

Eley sport, RWS target, cci standard etc etc. Should be common in a lot of gunshops.

Presumably this is for a .22 rifle with a moderator. If so, I can recommend Eley Sport and RWS Target Rifle. Not too expensive and subsonic out of a moderator.
