1887 Martini Henry

#1 Post by Joe Pugh »

Hi folks I have for sale a 1887 Martini Henry made at Enfield in the original 577/450 caliber. Lots of markings and possibly one of the ones from Nepal.

I bought this gun as a shooter but it ended up as a wall hanger for over a year and I have decided to sell it.
Even though I bought it as a shooter I am not sure it would be 100% doable as the outside of the barrel has some pitting (pictures at the bottom). However I have put a primer in a case and pulled the trigger and the gun works leaving a nice dent in the primer.

Having looking at some of the prices online for similar guns I am asking for £780 but am open to reasonable offers. I will also give the one and only 577/450 case I have with the gun.

Some more pictures
These show some of the worse pitted areas.
If they are not to clear I will take some more pictures if needed.
I am from South Wales but can post for free. (I'm feeling Generous) thankssign
