Empty .22 slot
I've got an empty slot for a ".22RF rifle".
What exactly does that allow me to buy? I was intending a bolt action rifle but does their wording allow me to buy something possibly more interesting?

Any rifle chambered in .22rf what ever the action..
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

Re: Empty .22 slot
I only have target shooting on my ticket so i need something that my club would be happy with and also that I'll want to shoot regularly. Many option initially seem quite interesting but would i really want to shoot them regularly?

Sorry but what has it to do with your club what you want to shoot, as long as the range is suitable for .22rf then any .22rf can be used. Or is your club a "target rifle only club" a Ruger 10/22 is a target rifle if your shooting at paper targets.

Didn't realise they did a .22lr semi auto version of the scorpion, one more .22 slot required me thinks :)Kungfugerbil wrote:If you wanted to, you could get one of these

Re: Empty .22 slot
What does your club shoot? do they do smallbore which is .22 prone (usually) where they wear jackets and use single shot bolt action rifles or/and do they shoot gallery rifles which include .22 semi auto rifles like the M&P 15-22 (AR15 style) or the Ruger 10-22 but also include .38/.357, .44, .45 underlever rifles like Winchester and Marlin (think cowboy guns).Rockhopper wrote:I only have target shooting on my ticket so i need something that my club would be happy with and also that I'll want to shoot regularly. You then decide how much you got and what you want :)
