One over on UKV :

Or you might think about a new Lee classic cast press.

Re: Single stage press.
The Breech Lock Challenger is excellent value at under £80, also makes swapping dies quicker.

I've full length sized everything from 9mm to 338 Lapua Magnum through mine without a problem.
I've also got the RCBS, only reason I bought it is I SS tumble clean a lot of cases for other shooters and with the InLine Fabrication Case Ejection System and PCat2 primer catcher upgrades fitted it makes decapping a few hundred cases a lot faster :)

Re: Single stage press.
I have never liked the challenger presses, they just seem a bit too light. I have the classic cast breechlockphaedra1106 wrote:The Breech Lock Challenger is excellent value at under £80, also makes swapping dies quicker.

Re: Single stage press.
I use a shaped paperclip attached to the priming arm on mine, works very nicely with pistol cartridges but not enough spring for stuff like 308 etc.
The Inline ejection system only works with the Classic Cast, not the Classic Cast Breechlock in your link, should be this one,

Re: Single stage press.
Always used a Wamadet handheld....until I went to a Wamadet on the wooden base.
Handy for easy relocation to suitable free spaces.
First single stage press I used was the RCBS Rochchucker (already had a Dillon 550 by then)
Ditched the Rockchucker to get the Lee Classic Cast, as it allows longer cartridges to bd made.
Primary use is shotshells that I don't have a dedicated machine for, so use the RCBS shotshell dies.
Secondary use will be for .50-BMG inert rounds.
(Both the RCBS & Lee use the 1 1/4" x 12 thread, for non 7/8" die types.
Both very capable machines.

Re: Single stage press.
You need to read up on your inline fabrication products :) just before Dec he got it together on the breechlock version, doesn't show on the website, but this is the email I got, and then bought...phaedra1106 wrote:I use a shaped paperclip attached to the priming arm on mine, works very nicely with pistol cartridges but not enough spring for stuff like 308 etc.
