Lantac upper receiver swap
So..... I've got a .223 Lantac raven here and I just don't shoot it enough.
I've also got a Cmmg .22 that I shoot all the time.
Does anybody have a .22 raven they'd like to convert to a .223 full bore Lantac?
Complete upper and barrel swap possible or even just the actual upper receivers as I can use my Cmmg barrel.
Alternatively does anyone want my .223 straight pull upper (I can buy a Hera arms upper which is identical to Lantac as far as I can tell)
Offers of even more complex arrangements invited.

So you want to keep both lowers?

Unless someone wants to swap a complete 223 for a complete 22
Re: Lantac upper receiver swap
Why not just calibre swap them on your certificate? You'd need another slot for each calibre, probably get an RFD to do it.
If you have the .223 on your FAC as a whole rifle, don't think you can just sell the upper.

I'd have to split it on my ticket first. Then I could sell both halves.

Nobody seems to have a raven upper though so it's moot!
I'll get a Hera arms stripped upper I think. Or perhaps upper and lower and transplant my Cmmg into it.

Re: Lantac upper receiver swap
How easy would it be to swap calibres between the 2 lowers?
Lantac to .22 and CMMG to .223?
I mean regarding paperwork, well aware how easy it would be mechanically. razz

Re: Lantac upper receiver swap
I used to do the reverse of that all the time. Then I fitter a catch 22 bolt catch on my Cmmg 22 and it prevents use of 223 on that lower. Which is fine.
