30mm tube 'scope wanted

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

I am after a 'scope, 30mm tube, prefer tactical type turrets and ideally zoom up to 24X magnification however a bit more is not a problem, Mils is my preference however MOA is fine as long as it is vaguely decent glass. It will be going on a mouse gun and will be used for a mix of paper and under the lamp.

Anyone?

I highly recommend the Bushnell elite tactical 6-24x50, such as the one I use on my Thompson R55 Benchmark. First focal plane, 30mm tube and decent glass.
They aren't cheap though: you'll pay at least £700 for a new one!

http://www.uttings.co.uk/p102739-falcon ... OPwEKK1thE I have 2 of the 18x in FFP and SFP both with the B20 reticle in Mil/Mil the glass is very good and for the price is difficult to beat, is it as good as Bushnell? I have no idea, the optic tarts at my club have been impressed (or scared I would beat them up :p ) and it leaves a lot of money to play with

The version I have is £813 on their website (FFP illuminated mildot). Strangely when I checked it last week it was £713.

I may have a leup 8.5 x 25 x 50 available in a couple of weeks if the guy that has it at the moment doesn't want it, however it is an MOA scope with a multi aim reticle that I cannot quite recall the name of
If it's of interest or you can wait that long
