Awesome!

It will be great to associate faces with Forum names.

Many thanks christel for organising the event.

You are very welcome Ken, it is 200 yards so bring both! COF is 10 rounds which should take a couple of minutes per person which leaves plenty of time for a natter whilst for your turn, or heckling the next shooter, plus we have a practice/zero target however we may need to operate that one ourselves, hopefully we will have enough volunteers and time to shoot a few rounds each.

I will be shooting .308 and .303 - both scoped as my eyes are too old for open sights these days. Christel will be swinging her 22C around and if we get a chance one of us will put a few more rounds through the 6,5-284 which could make a good McQueen rifle when it has had a few more rounds through it.

I suspect we will see some serious good natured competition going on between some of those attending and I hope to be pleasantly surprised by the results.

I hope the prize will be sorted and here in time as well.

Do you mean personally owned rifles? If so I would only choose three for myself. The first two are ethically pure rifles used in the spirit of the competition:

Accuracy International 7,62x51 - It would have to be shot with Milsurp.
No4 Mk1(T) .303
S&L 6,5x47 - I have not shot McQueen with it but I will do very shortly and given the 12X 'scope and slick action it could be quite handy.

If I wanted to shoot for maximum points then I would steal the Vikings 22C
