M1903 Springfield Rifle

#1 Post by TomEnfield »

Dear fullbore,

I am looking for M1903 Springfield from any maker that isn't in the bad receiver serial range.

I'm not looking for a M1903 a3.

This link explains the receiver issues quite well.

Mine is based on an A3 so not suitable.
Doubt I'd sell it though, not easy to find genuine sniper models these days!

Know them. Nice blokes.
No connection to my A4 though.

Made in WW2 by Remington.
Serial # is correct & matches the first batch of A3 models diverted for A4 builds.
Had it a couple of decades-ish. Nice rifle....still gets the odd airing!
