Is the Marlin "JM"? A friend may be interested.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

What does "weekly bump" mean please?

If you have not yet sold the Westlake, why not bring it down to Bisley (with the Marlin?) for 15/16 July and shoot it in the South London RC's "Open Meeting for Repeating Pistols"? (Details on the Surrey Branch MLAGB website)
That weekend is also the NRA Medals/Cup Matches for Gallery rifle etc.
