Try ovenpaa on here he's fairly recently done a 500 rebuild putting some plastic stuff on.

Unfortunately it is sold already, I think it went for GBP40.00 shipped to give you an idea of price.

+1 you can buy a 500 for comfortably sub a couple of hundred quid if you look around.
