Clearly our mileage may vary. I spent quite a bit on my SGC V22 ten years back but then it's incredibly well built and a straight shooter with impeccable back up. Having shot a few AK-22 types ... I'm not convinced one is worth that kind of money when there's so many 'proper' (uh oh, now I've done it) better rifles / handguns out there for less money.

But compared to other AK-22 types that Polish Beryl is in a different league so to speak....it isn't so much a clone/copy but an actual AK chambered in .22lr, built like a tank (probably recycled T-62's!!!) and certainly better quality than say the GSG offering for example.

To be honest I would imagine that the price has been bumped up for our market and they would actually be cheaper in the rest of Europe.

It says advance orders and last order July so maybe in batches ,worth a call .

If you have the space on your ticket could you not just fly in buy it have it delivered airside then have it put on your ticket back here ?

Yes at a stupid price. I hate getting mugged for living in a nanny state. I think I'll make inquiries when I go to CZ in a month.

Tell me about it, a brand new Dragunov/Tigr can be had in Russia for around £900.......add a grand to that by the time they get here!!!
