Northumbria FEO declined tea/coffee/biscuits - said as he had 7 calls to do in a day he would be visiting quite a few loos and putting on too much weight!!

I don't do tea or coffee, barely have milk.
they could have coke, cider, mead or water.

When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns

Slight update:
Called TVP Firearms Licensing Department today to confirm they have received the application in the post (so two weeks after it was posted) and they can't confirm if they have received it.
They have suggested that I try them again in "a couple of weeks" to see if it has been entered on to the system.

If they have received it they'd have cashed the cheque PDQ. Check with your bank.Plumose wrote:...they can't confirm if they have received it.

Pretty poor admin on their part IMO.Plumose wrote:Slight update:

I had a letter from mine acknowledging receipt & giving an estimated time for both an FEO visit & grant of licence.
They were good to their word with the FEO visit & beat their grant estimate by 35 days...
...not that 105 days to grant an FAC is anything to celebrate.
Re: FAC application in the post tomorrow
When asked on approximate turn around times they said "it will probably be a few months" which could mean anything

Typically the application will first go to the admin people who will open the post, take any cheques and bank them, then it'll be passed onto the appropriate department for them to action.
