Enjoy the forum

Hi Dave, welcome. That's a hell of a collection for a 20 year old! Well done.

Sounds like an interesting degree your doing?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, seldom seen on forums these days

Robin thanks for the invite to Cardiff (forgot to put that in a previous post)

Mike, it is an exceptional course of study with some real unsung historians, sadly the uni lacks a shooting club.

Crown House Armoury...that used to be in Penarth right?

Now in Pontypool according to Google...what's that club like Dave_303, what ranges, what calibres, how safe?

They're run by a bloke called Alan Thomas, by all accounts a lovely guy, can't fault him
Crown House shoot at Severnside with HBRA (Hereford Breech Loading Rifle Association), MoD Sennybridge with Brecon Rifle Club and at Stoke Orchard near tewksbury.
Stoke Orchard is a really nice albeit small range with 6 or 7 firing points and it 100m long.
Sennybridge they use various ranges but have had a great laugh on all.
Pleasant group of people, very helpful, lots of banter, and most importantly very safe.

Hello everyone

I know this is an old thread but I was looking at joining or at last visiting the Crown House Armory club in Pontypool to get my shooting started.

I have been looking online for some information but cant seem to find any contacts what so ever.

Any information on this club would be brilliant thanks

Joe Pugh
