Explosive Certificates

#1 Post by falco67 »

Has the term of the Black Powder Explosive Certificate changed?

My current certificate was issued in 2013 and expires in 2018 at the same time as my FAC.

Looking on the Nottinghamshire Police Web site on the price list page it states

Explosives Certificates
Acquire only, valid for one year maximum: Not applicable (free)
Acquire and keep, valid for three years maximum: Not applicable (free)
Where MSER License/Registration not required: Please refer to the HSE website

regards

Mine is for five years, co-terminus with my FAC & SGC.

Was all renewed in August this year to run to 2022.

Same here, they gave me one year so I could renew it with my FAC this year and run them together

I have spoken to Firearms Licensing, they thanked me for informing them of the error and are going to correct it to 5 years :good:
