After shooting for 32 years, the one thing I had the most trouble with was loading for my k31 7.5x55....i had nothing but problems with the cases, eventually I pulled over 400 rounds,(every round I had)I trimmed the lot, tumbled the lot then bought a Redding set, full length resized everyone, trimmed again then loaded, since when I had no problems.....it seems to be the angle of the slope between neck and main bulk of the case....it has to be precise or it don't seem to wanna load into the k31....I use a 168 lead with gas check and 11 gns of unique for my pistol range club and I just use privi partisan if i get to go to the big range...i tried, rcbs ,Lee and I took a ton of advice,in the end the Redding die did the trick.

The K31 chamber is finicky and also it has practically no freebore so bullet selection is more critical, the 1911 and earlier models however have more reasonable dimensions so are far easier to reload for.

The FLS is because I only have a collet die and all of the once fired brass for the 1896/11 needs sizing as it had a longer chamber and if I can use it instead of buying new it saves the outlay for brass. Annoyingly the FLS will probably only be used the once.

I can lend you one if you just want to process all your brass?
