Nomex Aviator Gloves

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

I use Nomex Aviator Gloves for shooting in colder conditions and being a Dick I have just lost my last pair so need some more. Can anyone point me to a source of genuine Aviator Gloves as opposed to the made in India/Pakistan copies that fall apart in a short time.

They need to be green/sage and size 10.

I bought the mod issue pilots/aircrew gloves. They are really nice to wear, I like them a lot.

Try Silvermans of London. They have both RAF and US flying gloves listed on their website, dont know if they are genuine so maybe call them before ordering.

I got two "sample" pairs from a Pakistani outfit at IWA several years ago - lasted fine - one pair in my CSR jacket and another pair in my stalking jacket.

Kenny, I have owned the cheaper versions in the past and they never seems to stand the test of time and have even had the dye come out when they have got wet, the 'issue' versions usually last years unless I manage to leave them somewhere....

I suffer with bad circulation in my hands. Are Nomex gloves a trick I have been missing??
