I thought I'd put my 3D printer to practical use over the Christmas period. So - designed and printed inserts to fit wooden boxes to hold my pre-weighed charges and odds and ends. I'm just designing/printing one now to hold 50 x .45-70 rounds.
I'm pleased how they came out. What do you think?

Lovely job, did you make the wooden box as well?
Re: Blackpowder ammunition box ?
Thanks Dave but no, these were "off the peg" jobs from my local craft shop. I just couldn't make them for the few quid these cost. I've made boxes in the past but unless you're setting up to make a batch, all the same size, it's very time consuming.Ovenpaa wrote:Lovely job, did you make the wooden box as well?
I made a small batch of these around 30 years ago, fitted out for various pistols. This ones looking a bit scuffed round the edges now though.
