.22 (.224) Bullets / heads for reloading - Various job lot

#1 Post by Blue Lizard »

Job lot of .22 (.224) bullet heads for reloading - various types (see below).

I don't reload any .22 calibres but in clearing out my reloading stock I have a load of unused heads for reloading (I believe they may have originally been for .22 Hornet?).

I've done a quick measure of each head type on my RCBS 505 beam scale & checked diameter with digital callipers and compared to .224 heads currently listed on Kranks and they come up as the following:

Type: - Quantity:
45gr SP (round nose) - 23
45gr SP - 205
50gr SP - 100
50gr FMJ HP - 99
55gr FMJ BT - 314
45gr RN lead - 632

Selling as a job lot for £80 incl UK mainland postage (5kg package!).

Please PM me for bank transfer details for payment (preferred; Paypal will be £3 more and Paypal doesn't like firearm related sales anyway :bad: )

I would very much like the RN lead should you split or anyone else just wants the jacketed...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Thanks for the interest Sim, but afraid it's already sold as a job-lot.

Went quickly - I should clear out more unused stuff!
