This video brought to mind a guy who I saw at a Gun Show in Reno, Nevada - he was a home loader who sold his homeloads as a semi professional business.
He specialised in "home defence" shotgun loads - he had a sign "No plastic surgeon will fix the wounds this inflicts on your intruder" - it was basically a handful of carpet tacks in some sort of gel type substance !

Anyway - can you imagine the Scenes of crime examination ? Guy is dead - he has nails or a woodscrew deep in his torso and bits of glass / powdered glass ? Call in Sherlock Holmes to determine cause of death !

Re: Unusual shotgun ammo
I think even in the US you're going to have problems after shooting someone with something like that!

Blackstuff:
Apart from reliability issues your civil and tactical legals are all over the place. You can justify shooting someone wth commercially made slug / buck home defence loads - or even hunting loads...but NOT say those silly "less likely to be lethal" rubber ball rounds or daft stuff like this bloke seeems to be flogging. The jury and personal claim lawyers would have a field day with your "INTENT to kill" super duper felon killer rounds! More to the point he too is probably open to a claim from anyone using this stuff who then gets done for it.
Keep it simple..use what the cops use.
IMO almost certain...even with stand your ground laws in place. Home loads (especially HOT loads or weird and exotic content) should never, ever be used for defensive purposes (in the States and definitely NOT in the UK).I think even in the US you're going to have problems after shooting someone with something like that!

Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!
