It has had the full "Soviet" treatment......I sourced the stock, handguards, pistol grip, receiver cover, rear sight and AKM slant compensator from a contact in Russia.At the time it worked out cheaper to get the parts myself rather than buy the Soviet version from Oleg as there was quite a difference in price at the time.
Also had an AKMS underfolder which with hindsight I wish I hadn't sold it is was a real beauty that I also went "Soviet" on including changing the stock and the folding mechanism to original Soviet AKMS parts

7.62 x 39 is my 2nd fav calibre - i love my snotty akms

They are probably the two ugliest guns I have ever set eyes on in my life they make my MAS36 look positively pretty.
Having said that the 7.62x39 is one of my favourite calibers to shoot and reload for only not in an AK.

I'm still waiting for someone to sell me a Beryl AK in .22lr. Somebody must be hiding one.

I have a Saiga carbine 7.62x39 with folding stock in good condition with 3 mags that I will put up on the for sale section after this weekend as I want one last go of it at Bisley. I have had it a year and this will ònly be the 3rd time I have used it as I mainly do psg now .
I am in SE London/Kent border if interested £675.
