They are in stock in the beautifull CR & cost Kc 10,600 / £ 365 (+postage)
If it is 100% legal for you to receive one, do you want me to ask if they can export one for you ?

To save on disappointment you might want to specify the thread required for your particular rifle.Hoppum wrote:After a genuine PBS-1 suppressor for 7.62x39 AK Rifles, if anyone's got one that they're willing to part with, let me know.
14mm left hand thread or M24 x 1.5 right hand thread?

To be honest I don't know the legalities of importing one myself, obviously I've got a slot on my ticket for one, perhaps a more knowledgeable member can enlighten us?froggy wrote:They are in stock in the beautifull CR & cost Kc 10,600 / £ 365 (+postage)

Genuine Russian PBS-1's are all M14 left hand thread, the Russian's never produced a suppressor for the AK-74 (M24x1.5 thread for muzzle brake). The only M24x1.5 thread suppressor they did produce was the special PBS-5 that was designed specifically for the 5.45x39 AKS-74U carbine.Dark Skies wrote:To save on disappointment you might want to specify the thread required for your particular rifle.Hoppum wrote:After a genuine PBS-1 suppressor for 7.62x39 AK Rifles, if anyone's got one that they're willing to part with, let me know.

During the Soviet-Afghan conflict and the First and Second Chechen Wars the Russian military continued to field the 7.62x39 AKM and AKMS fitted with the PBS-1 if a suppressed AK was required, despite the AK-74 being the standard issue rifle by that time. The PBS-1 was actually only good for around 15 shots before the rubber 'wiper" needed to be replaced, these rubber wipers were carried as spares. They also used special sub-sonic rounds with them that used a longer, heavier bullet (193gr) that was known as the "7.62 US" and had the GRAU index 57-N-231U, it could be indentified by the purple laquer used to seal the bullet and primer whereas regular M43 rounds had red laquer.
