#1 Post by bnz41 »

For Sale, Stunning condition matching numbered 1953 Polish Mosin M44. 7.62x54r calibre, 5 round internal magazine, fold out bayonet, original Polish sling (not a Russian one) original oil bottle. This rifle was owned by the same person for almost 20 years, hardly had any use over that time, has recently been London re proofed just to make sure it's 100%.
Superb wood & metalwork, smooth bolt action, ready to give many more years of fire ball muzzle blasts.
Selling for £550
Face to face transaction, collect in Essex or can meet at Bisley.

That is a very nice looking carbine, the Polish M44's are very well made and the finish on them is excellent and many of them were unissued and unfired when they left Poland.

Good luck with the sale :good:

Hello
What is the condition of the rifling, many of these M44s were used with surplus corrosive primer ammunition and unfortunately not cleaned very well. I was offered an M44 sometime ago and the bore and especially muzzle were in very poor condition.
Is rfd to rfd an option ?
