Barrel Blank
Gents, looking for a barrel blank. .358, 1 in 14” twist, at least 16” long. Also needs to be 1” in diameter.
Where should I be looking or whom should I be contacting?
Cheers.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Re: Barrel Blank
I'd have thought Sassen could do it...?
Re: Barrel Blank
Unfortunately, four emails concerning this and a separate rifle barrel have gone unanswered. I have a Sassen on my AR, and that was my first port of call. I'm looking elsewhere now....

Re: Barrel Blank
I am having a Brux match grade 6.5 Creedmoor 28 inch straight taper barrel fitted to my AI AT. I have been informed that Brux barrels are highly recommended - not sure if that helps or not?
What about Fox Firearms, I do believe that they can provide barrels http://foxfirearmsuk.com/index.php/15-s ... Itemid=106#

Brownells are crazy money!!!
I have a gunsmith to do the work, he just doesn’t have a barrel suitable. It’s becoming a little problematic as there hasn’t been a need for “pistol” barrels in the UK for such a long time.
Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Having made a number of calls this morning and I am utterly astounded at the complete ignorance of the vast majority of dealers both in regards to the technical specs or index the law surrounding the item I’m seeking....
FFS, there should be some sort of “test”! I’m afraid most should just be regarded as idiots...
