Hello
Can somebody please correct me if I am in error.
I thought that to comply with section 7.3 pistol shooting at a designated a site.
The pistol had to be manufactured before 1919, or be of special interest with provenance, and be of obsolete caliber and certainly not 9mm parabellum. If the above is incorrect I will certainly be joining a 7.3 designated site and getting back my Luger and P38 amongst others that were stolen from me in 1996

long winded answer....

caliber is irelevant to a sec 7.3, although sometimes the caliber itself could make it sec 7 worthy itself, like my smith and wesson revolver in 32H&R mag, which due to being a very short production run, makes it a rare beast.

they moved the goalposts on year in last lot of legislation too, so anything pre 39 gets in by age alone.

the highpowers in question above, one is sec 5 unless you can come up with a good reason, the other is sec 7.3 because it is an ex mod owned gun. that is established as a reason for collection, same as the glock 19 I own which was in the pistol trials to replace the high power in service, where they ultimately selected the glock 17. So yeah, 9mm is fine

I think you are confusing sec 7.1 and sec 7.3. sec 7.1 is where you can store it at home, and in that case, 9mm is exempted from being able to come under 7.1

lugers and p38's should be fine. Do it, it's fun

They are in business and Barrie is still involved, but I think not a lot of headroom on their S5 authority. But you will only find out by asking!
