Greetings from East Lothian!!

#1 Post by saddler »

Evening all...

Great, ANOTHER forum to keep track of!! :G ;)

Have the same user name on most forums - and some folk on here know me quite well from Bisley shows & JSPC and/or Consett Club/3-Counties shoots

Keen Practical shotgun shooter, also like HBSA-style activities - though also have a few modern items, but not many.
BIG fan of the 6.8SPC round & have a Rem 700 LTR in that calibre.

Owner of a Dillon 550 that has an insatiable appetite for more accessories, bolt-on goodies & calibre conversion kits

Recently had a reversion to airguns - as once I was old enough to buy the things I once lusted after, I was in possession of an FAC & could get S.1 kit for a mere fraction of airgun prices!! Been gradually acquiring a few older ('70'-90's) Webley airguns - always after more - not got a Tracker yet & always interested in Vulcan's; there are probably others to add to the small but growing collection....

ta all...

@mike 357 - what range do you use?

Off to Blairadam in the a.m. :flag6: - so I hereby foretell of wet damp spells followed by light monsoon conditions, which may deteriorate into a less than sunny day out :cool2:

JSPC hosts some very interesting open shoots

I'm also attempting to get the range there used by UKPSA type bodies for Mini-rifle & LBR/LBP comps

Not been to Bisley this year yet due to transport issues, now resolved, so MAY try to show my face in October for the Trafalgar

Saddler, I'm entering the open shoots next year as I'm gonna have a bash at team selection.

Id be happy to support mini rifle and lbr/lbp comps next year as I'll have appropriate firearms by then.

I was shooting with Leslie Kong in July up at Aberdeen, nice bloke.
